Nationally known sculptor Joel Randell completed, in 2004, a life-size bronze sculpture of the famous Frenchman from America's Revolution, the "Marquis De Lafayette". This was the sculpture that launched his independent career. To date Randell has sculpted numerous figurative sculptures and portrait bas reliefs in bronze. Randell recently completed his largest commission yet, "The Del City Women's Veterans Monument". This historic memorial design includes seven bronze figures of servicewomen from each of the branches, fountains, and a reflecting pool.
